Shelby #16 Rubberized Liquid Asphalt is a paste like emulsified rubber asphalt sealing compound. When dry, it forms an impervious & highly elastic seamless sealing film, highly resistant to heat & cold.
USE: Shelby Rubberized Liquid Asphalt is applied on: • Rain & Water Exposed Surfaces – roof-sealing, roof repairs, terraces, balconies, underground garages. • Rising Moisture Areas – Cellars, floor slabs. • Ground Moisture, Meteoric & impounded water – foundations & cellar walls, firewalls. It is highly recommended to apply topcoat with any elastomeric, latex, acrytex, floor, roofing paint to protect and prevent from washing out.

SURFACE PREPARATION & APPLICATION:
1.All surfaces must be clean free from dirt, oil & grease
2.A diluted solution of Rubberized Liquid Asphalt with clean WATER at a ratio of 1:1 is highly recommended as PRIMER coat in order to achieve an adequate adhesion to the surface. It should not be applied in rain & to building elements where capillary moisture do continually enter the coating from the sub-surface
3.Apply at a thickness of 90 to 100 mils equivalent to 3-4 coats. The residual water of the preceding coat must have evaporated before the next coat is applied
It is recommended during application that all the working equipment is to be moistened with water before use & to be rinsed from time to time in order to prevent the compound from setting.
4.Apply a Topcoat to protect shelby from HEAT.
* Recommended Topcoat – ipatong sa ibabaw ng SHELBY
*Pag sahig o flooring – Patungan ng Floor paint.
*Sa Bubong o roofing – Patungan ng Roofing paint.
*Sa Firewall – Patungan ng Elastomeric paint o Latex paint
*Kahit ano tatak pwede o kahit ano waterbased topcoat / Any Brand or any concrete paint

DRYING TIME: 4 1/2 hours depending on weather conditions
THINNING: Use Clean Water. Water based
SPREADING RATE: 10 square meter / 4-liter / per coat
PACKAGING: 4 liter can
Can be applied by Brush or Roller.
